Selected end-products of petrochemical plants realized by Volnovka:

On the different petrochemicals plant which have been realized by Volnovka and their partners, there are several petrochemical compounds being produced:

Fertilizer: ammonia

Ammonia, one of the key products of Volnovka's petrochemical plants endeavors, Ammonia can be used as a fertilizer and as a part of the creation of other compounds. It is the base product for more refined processes.

Fertilizer: ammonia nitrate

Ammonia nitrate is a downstream product and often produced on the same complex as pure ammonia. It is classified as a salt and mainly used as a fertilizer.

Fertilizer: urea

Urea can also be used as a fertilizer and as a key component in the process of creating other compounds such as melamine.

Melamine

As a so called downstream product, melamine, which can be used as part of the mixture for adhesives, is one of the refined products providing a higher revenue for clients than its basic compounds.

Olefins

Olefins are a type of hydrocarbons which are mostly used in the petrochemical industry. The most common olefins are ethylene and propylene. These compounds are mostly used in the production of consumer goods.

Methanol

Volnovka has built one of the largest methanol production plants in the world. Methanol is an alcohol and a versatile chemical that is used in thousands of products of daily life.
